If you want to add an event into a specific calendar in the app please set it to sync with that specific account first and then add the event and sync again for it to come into the calendar account you want.

*Important: There is currently an issue with HTC, LG Optimus 3D and the new sony ericsson arc and xperia mini/mini pro devices and google sync in the app, but the calendar works fine otherwise.
